Officers located a stolen vehicle and made contact with the suspects who were seen exiting that vehicle. The driver, Steven Noble, DOB 1/6/1964, was arrested on the above charge.
Officers responded to a report that shots had been fired into an occupied dwelling. They located several casings and bullet strikes to the building. There were no reported injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
The victim was sitting in the passenger seat of her parked vehicle when the suspect approached and opened her door. When the victim attempted to flee and get help the suspect began to try and start the vehicle. Lori Lopes, DOB 10/2/1979, was arrested on the above charges.
The victim was approached by the suspect and they became involved in a verbal argument that turned into a physical altercation. The suspect then produced a gun and threatened the victim before fleeing on foot. The suspect is described as: B/M/A, mid thirties, 6'4"-6'6" tall, bald, LSW all dark clothing.
Joshua Smitz, DOB 3/1/1990, was arrested on the above charges.
Officers were in the area when they were stopped regarding shots being fired. They located several casings and the investigation is ongoing.
Officers conducted a stop for Traffic Violations and discovered the vehicle had been stolen. Michael Coleman, DOB 6/15/1980, was arrested on the above charges.
Officers responded to reports of shots being fired. They located several un-involved patrons who had been hit with shrapnel and had minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
The victim attempted to stop the suspects from leaving without paying for merchandise when one of the suspects grabbed the victim's arm and they were able to flee with the merchandise. Officers located the suspects a day later. Marcquis Simpson, DOB 10/12/1991, and Joseph Turner, DOB 9/17/1989, were arrested on the above charge.
Officers responded to a report that suspects were seen inside a business after hours. They discovered a door had been smashed and several slot machines were burglarized but the suspects were gone upon their arrival. Total loss has not been disclosed and there are no suspect descriptions at this time.
The victim and suspect were involved in verbal dispute when the suspect pushed the victim, produced a gun and then threatened an employee. Israel Solley, DOB 5/9/1995, was arrested on the above charges.

The victim was approached by a group of suspects who began to harass him then one suspect produced a gun and threatened him. The suspects then fled but the armed suspect returned a short time later and was taken into custody. The suspect, a juvenile, was arrested on the above charge.

Officers had just located a stolen vehicle when they noticed another vehicle parked next to the stolen vehicle was occupied. They made contact with that occupant and learned that vehicle was also stolen. Carlos Norwood, DOB 8/26/1992, was arrested on the above charges.

The victim was approached by the suspect who displayed a gun, demanded his property and then fled to a waiting vehicle. The suspect vehicle is described as: a newer Ford Mustang, dark in color, with stripes on the side. There is no suspect description at this time.

1310 North: Child Endangerment/Battery - 1200 blk Oliver Ave
RPD initially responded on a report of two missing 5 year old juveniles. While en route, the call changed to a domestic dispute. The intoxicated female suspect came home to find that her 5 yoa twins were not at home and began throwing items at the roommates. The suspect forgot that her brother and a friend were watching the juveniles. The juveniles checked OK.

Employees of a local storage company were cleaning out an old storage unit and located a large mortar. Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) team was called out and could not determine if it was still active or not. Fallon EOD responded to assist. The device was collected.

0100 South: Armed Robbery- 3100 blk S. Virginia St.
Reno Police responded to the victim who said she was just robbed at gunpoint. She reported she met the suspect and he and a friend had accompanied her back to her room. While she was in the restroom the suspect began to go through her bag and remove money and a debit card. When the victim entered the room she interrupted the suspect, who showed her a handgun and then began showing her ammunition telling her he would shoot her. The suspect and his friend left and the victim called Police. Officers located the suspect at a neighboring business and he was taken into custody. Officers located the handgun which was ultimately a BB gun

1857 South: Child Endangerment – 2600 blk Plumas St
Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance with multiple firearms involved. The female attempted to leave with a firearm, but the male was concerned based on her past suicidal threats so he attempted to take the gun away from her. The two struggled over the firearm and the male half was able to gain control of the gun. The female then retrieved a shotgun and pointed it at the male. During the investigation, officers learned the place was in disarray. Food was all over the floor, furniture was knocked over, trash was everywhere on the floor, pill bottles were on a bottom shelf that could be reached by their 2yr old daughter, a bottle of bleach, and when the parents were fighting over guns upstairs, they left their 2 year old daughter on the couch with a mason jar of Marijuana open and on the coffee table in front of her. Both parents arrested for Child Endangerment. CPS on scene and placed the child.

2200 Central: Leaving Scene of Accident/ DOP to Police Car@Mill @ High
An RPD Officer was responding to an unrelated call for service when he was hailed by a victim of a hit and run. The victim told the Officer that his vehicle was struck multiple times by a subject in the area of Plumb Ln and Wrondel Way. The victim followed the suspect to the area of Mill St and High St, where the suspect stopped his car and exited, challenging the victim to fight. The victim said that the suspect was in the area on foot. The Officer began to check the area and as he pulled away the suspect ran at his vehicle and swung his belt at his patrol car, striking it on the right rear door causing damage. This was witnessed by the victim. The suspect was arrested for the traffic accident, driver’s license charges and the DOP to the Reno Police patrol vehicle.

Attempted Parental Kidnapping, Child Abuse, Domestic Battery - 1500 blk Ridgeview
The mother (suspect) of the child had her parental rights terminated. The father of the nine year old juvenile has sole custody. The child was visiting maternal grandparents. The mother of the child confronted the grandmother and child on their way to the pool. The Suspect hit the grandmother in the right eye and pulled the child away by the wrist. The grandmother told the child to fall to the ground. The Suspect picked the child up and dropped her to the ground. The Suspect kicked the child in the back and fled.

Officers responded to Kohl's regarding a subject with a knife threatening employees and actively cutting open packages. Officers took the suspect into custody without incident. During a search of the suspect, he was found in possession of a small crowbar, large box cutter and prescription medications not in his name.

North: Child Abuse arrest - 700 blk of Washington St
We initially responded to 6500 blk of Springwood Dr regarding a domestic disturbance. During the investigation we met with victim 1 who is the mother of the two female juveniles who were also victims of the incident. The suspect showed up and was banging on the door when the 14 YOA Juvenile answered to tell the suspect to leave. The suspect pushed the door open, pushed the teenager and then punched her in the chest. The 13 YOA confronted the suspect and he pushed her violently causing her to strike a table. Officers later located the suspect and he was taken into custody.

An unrestrained pit bull bit the reporting party in the hand and cornered him in a common area between residences. An RPD Officer arrived and the dog charged the Officer. Hotel Security responded to the pool reference a disturbance involving a grossly intoxicated woman and her infant child. RPD was summoned and the uncooperative mother had to be restrained to keep her from leaving with the infant. The mother was arrested for the listed charge.

Officers located a suspect who was wanted and had run from them several times in the past. The suspect was inside a residence and refused to come out. He began throwing items at the Officers and then threw a chunk of wood hitting one of the officers. Adam Walker, DOB 3/27/1983, was arrested on the above charges.
A witness reported seeing the suspect exit a vehicle, batter the victim and then flee back to the waiting vehicle. The victim's injuries are substantial but not life-threatening. The suspect is described

Officers conducted a stop on a cyclist for equipment violations and discovered he was in possession of a gun. Brian Holloway, DOB 2/28/1994, was arrested on the above charges.
The suspect approached a customer, produced a gun and demanded her money. When the victim said she had no cash the suspect turned to the employee and demanded the money. The suspect then grabbed the money from the register and fled on foot. Total loss has not been disclosed. The suspect is described

The victim was riding in a car with a friend when she stopped at the stop-sign at 5th and Washington. The suspect approached the vehicle and according to the victim, for no apparent reason, stabbed the victim in the face with a knife. The victim's friend drove away and responded to a local hospital where they called the police. The victim's injuries were not life threatening. The suspect is still outstanding at this time.

Officers responded to the residence as a result of a domestic disturbance where a firearm was cocked, pointed and used in a threatening manner. The suspect fled prior to arrival of officers. Officer were able to local the suspect's residence were he later surrendered and taken into custody. The firearm was located and discovered to be stolen in 1969 out of New York.

The victim was near the registration area of a local hotel when the suspect stabbed him near the right ribs. The suspect then fled the area on foot with two other individuals. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is still outstanding at this time.

The suspect had walked into a room uninvited at a local motel. He was acting erratically and appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. He had an altercation with the tenant there. He then left the area. As he was walking back he was confronted by the original victim plus another male. They had another altercation. The defendant pulled a hand made knife out and stabbed the victim in the face with it. The victim was transported to a local hospital. The suspect was located and arrested.

Victim advised he and his roommate got into a verbal argument about him being too loud. The victim locked the defendant outside because he was intoxicated and getting violent. The defendant managed to gain entry to the residence, armed himself with a box cutter and began slashing at the victim. The victim punched the defendant one time in his face and disarmed him. The victim received minor injuries. The suspect was arrested.
