2143Central: BDW, Stabbing@West 1st St.

The victim and suspects were involved in a verbal dispute that turned physical. Then one of the suspects produced a knife and stabbed the victim in his leg. The victims injury is non-life threatening. The suspects are described as: #1 W/M/A, 5'9" tall, blonde hair, LSW black shorts, white shirt and a baseball hat. #2 W/M/A, heavy set, curly black hair, LSW black shorts, black shirt and a black hat. #3 H/M/A or I/M/A, 5'9" tall, short hair with either a pony tail or a rat tail.

1046Central: Arrest - Trespass / O&R@North Sierra St.

Officers had taken the suspect into custody for Trespassing when he attempted to flee. Joshua Northrup, DOB 5/16/1984, was arrested on the above charges.

2120Central: BDW, Unknown Object@Park St.

The victim and suspect had exchanged words and as the victim began to walk away the suspect followed and then punched the victim in the face before fleeing. A short time later the victim noticed he had a couple of puncture wounds on his arm. There is no suspect description at this time.

0529               South: BDW@700 blk Robinhood Dr

Officers responded to the area on report of a BDW with a firearm.  The Victim reported being inside a vehicle and two suspects attacked her with a handgun, due to her being inside their vehicle.  The handgun discharged during the battery.  The Suspects left in the vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries she received during the battery.

Victim was smoking a cigarette outside her home when the suspect walked up and grabbed the victims purse which was next to her. The victim tried to get her purse back when the suspect began battering her. She was able to retain her property after the struggle but sustained minor injuries. The suspect was located as officers arrived on scene.

Officers responded to an intoxicated subject screaming and throwing up next to his vehicle. When officers arrived they located the male subject passed out inside his vehicle. Officers tried to get the male to exit the vehicle but he refused. As officers began to remove the subject he swung at an Officer knocking off his body cam. The subject continued to resist and could not be taken to the ground. The officers were not injured.

Officers responded to a report of a possible commercial burglary in process and observed a subject leaving the area that matched the description of the suspect. As they went to make contact with the suspect he attempted to flee. The suspect refused to identify himself and was booked as John Doe, DOB 1/1/1993, on the above charges.

1030Central: Arrest - Trespassing / O&R / Poss. of Drug Paraphernalia@East 4th St.

Officers were taking the suspect into custody for Trespassing when he became non-compliant and combative. Richard Johnson, DOB 11/22/1974, was arrested on the above charges.

1358Central : Arrest - Jaywalking / O&R / CCW / Poss. of a Gun by a Prohibited Person @2nd & Arlington

Officers observed the suspect Jaywalking and attempted to make contact but the suspect fled. As he was fleeing a gun fell out of his waistband. The suspect was located a short time later. Charles Murphy, DOB 11/22/1991, was arrested on the above charges.

The victim was approached by the suspects as they exited a vehicle. When he saw one suspect had a bat he dropped his property and prepared for a fight. The suspects then grabbed his property and fled in the vehicle. The suspects are described as: #1 B/M/A, LSW a blue hoodie and blue jeans. #2 B/M/A, LSW a dark hoodie and blue jeans. #3 B/M/A, no further.

0030Central: Arrest - ADW, Firearm / Ex-Felon in Possession of a Firearm / PCS / Battery@North Virginia St.

The victim and suspect were involved in an argument regarding money when the suspect struck the victim over the head with a bottle of liquor. The suspect then produced a gun and attempted to shoot the victim and then fled. Officers located the suspect a short time later. Nathan Lomax, DOB 3/14/1978, was arrested on the above charges.

The report of shots heard in the area of was received by RPD Dispatch. Officers arrived on scene and conducted a canvass of the area. No suspects or victims have been identified

0222                       North: Domestic, BDW@2100 blk Highview Ct.

Officers responded to a stabbing that was a result of a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived on scene and located the female suspect applying pressure to the male victim's left shoulder. It was determined that both parties had been arguing. During the argument the female stabbed the male. Victim was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injuries.

2135                       Central: PCS Cocaine, PCS MJ, PCS for Sales, EF in Possission of a Firearm, Suspended DL@N. Virginia St./ W. 4th St.

An RPD Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had suspended plates. During his investigation, the Officer learned that the subject had an outstanding out-of-state warrant and a suspended driver’s license. He arrested the male driver and during a search of the defendant located narcotics and a loaded handgun under the driver’s seat and additional ammunition. The male is a prohibited from possessing a firearm

Officers were taking the suspect into custody for Battery and Trespassing when he became combative with them. Markell Ransome, DOB 10/26/1993, was arrested on the above charges.

1645Central: Arrest - BDW, Machete@Underneath the Wells Overpass

The victim and suspects were involved in a disagreement when the suspects began to chase the victim and then struck him in the back of the head with a Machete. The victims injury is non-life threatening and the suspects were located a short time later. Abraham Samuels, DOB 6/12/1961, was arrested on the above charge. Jeffery Gray, DOB 6/17/1962, was arrested for ADW with a Metal Pipe.

Officers observed the suspect inside a parked vehicle. When they went to make contact the suspect attempted to flee. Brent Martin, DOB 8/20/1995, was arrested on the above charges.

Officers responded to the area on a report of a subject that was down and unresponsive.  Upon arrival, an officer made contact with the defendant who became irate when asked his name.  The defendant failed to obey several verbal commands, got up, and swung at the officer. The defendant was taken into custody.

0143                       South: MIC, CCW, Possess Dangerous Weapon and O&R Arrest- 400 blk South Meadows Pkwy

RPD Officers responded on a report of suspect inside a business that was acting aggressive, causing a disturbance and carrying a concealed firearm.  When Officers arrived, they attempted to contact two males who were leaving the bar.  One of the males, who matched the description of the suspect, fled on foot.  After a brief search of the area he was located hiding in some bushes behind the store, but was not in possession of the gun.  Officers retraced his route and located the suspects’ Glock 27 and a knife.  During a search of the suspect he was also found to be in possession of metal knuckles.

Officers responded to a reported DUI driver who drove up onto and then parked on a divider in the parking lot.  The Officers contacted the Defendant who tried to get back into his vehicle after repeated directions not to enter the vehicle.

1834                       South: Domestic Strangulation Arrest -11000 blk South Virginia Street

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. While en route Officers were advised that the Victim was being choked and was unconscious.  Officers arrived and the Defendant had fled.  Officers found the Victim semi-conscious with injuries consistent with being choked and battered.  The Defendant called and agreed to return to the apartment where he was taken into custody without incident

0005                       North: PCS arrest – 2600 blk Dickerson Rd

RPD Officers responded on a report of a suspect that had parked off the traveled portion of the roadway and was illegally dumping trash. Officers arrived on scene and located the vehicle, however, no driver was found. A short time later the suspect returned and was standing near his vehicle when he was contacted by Officers. The suspect was in possession of a glass smoking pipe with residue and narcotics were found in his vehicle. He also had an active warrant for his arrest.

The victim caught the suspect trying to steal his motorcycle in the parking lot. Officers contacted the suspect who had a felony warrant for GTA. Officers searched an ammo box next to the suspect which contained bomb making material. The suspect was also in possession of a .38 cal revolver. Officers located about 6 grams of Methamphetamine on the suspect

The victim and suspects were previously involved in a dispute. The suspects returned to the victims room a short time later and began banging on the door. When the victim opened the door the suspects attacked him and then stole his property before fleeing. The suspects are described as: #1 B/M/A, mid twenties, 5'2" tall, 145 lbs. #2 B/M/A, mid twenties to early thirties, short hair, LSW a white shirt and dark shorts.

The victim had been approached by the suspect earlier and now the suspect appeared at the victims door. The suspect displayed a Taser and demanded money from the victim before fleeing to a waiting vehicle. The suspect is described as: #1 H/F/A, long black hair, brown eyes, LSW a black tank top and blue jeans. #2 H/M/A, short brown hair, brown eyes, LSW a blue and white checkered button up shirt, plain white undershirt and blue jeans.

The victim and suspect do not get along and today the suspect followed the victim, sideswiped his car and then struck his car a second time before fleeing the area. Officers located the suspect a short time later. Michael Gorman, DOB 9/14/1975, was arrested on the above charges.

2015              Central: Attempted Robbery, Battery on person <60, Battery by a Prisoner@200 blk Arlington Ave


Officers responded on the report of some type of fight. It ended up being attempted purse snatch. The Defendant followed two females and attempted to rip their purse off their shoulders. He then punched one of the females in the face then ran away. The Defendant was located and did not comply with officers. He began to fight knocking an Officer’s body cam off and was ultimately taken into custody.

0033                       Central: Trespassing, O&R @300 blk N. Sierra St.

Officers were conducting a domestic battery investigation on the 7th floor of the parking garage when they noticed what appeared to be a grossly intoxicated female acting strangely. On site security approached the female and trespassed her from the property. The female refused to leave and sat down on the ground near the officers. When asked to leave again she told the officers no and told them to arrest her. Officers placed her under arrest and she became even more irrational and began to scream, kick and spit.

Officers responded to a vehicle versus motorcycle accident.  The motorcycle rider was transported by REMSA and found to have substantial injuries.  The vehicle driver was found to be at fault for the accident in addition to being DUI. The driver was booked for Insurance Required, Due Care and DUI Alcohol Causing Substantial.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and were attempting to make contact with the suspect. The suspect refused to obey, became combative and kicked an  Officer. Kenisha Nelson, DOB 5/19/1978, was arrested on the above charges.

The victim and suspects were involved in a road rage incident and the suspect followed the victim to his residence. The suspect then exited his vehicle, struck the victim with a metal pipe, broke a window of the victim's vehicle and then fled. The victim's injury is non-life threatening. The suspect is described as: W/M/A, mid twenties to early thirties, 6' tall, short buzzed hair.
