The suspects entered the residence without knocking. They went directly to a back room, battered the victim and stole property before fleeing. The suspects are described as: #1 B/M/A, large build, large afro style hair, LSW a white tank top and white shorts. #2 B/M/A, no further.

2115South: Armed Robbery, Knife@South Virginia St.

The victim had agreed to meet the suspect in order to purchase some items that he had for sale. When they met at the agreed upon location the suspect produced a knife and stole the victims money before fleeing. The suspect was located a short time later and taken into custody. Deanthony Vivian, DOB 1/4/1994, was arrested on the above charge.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired and located several casings and a building with several bullet strikes. There were no reported injuries and the investigation is ongoing.

0214Central: Arrest - PCS/Poss. of Burg Tools/Trafficking@West 6th St.

Officers observed an occupied stolen vehicle and conducted a stop. During the investigation they located a controlled substance, burglary tools, a handgun, jewelry and Id's in other peoples names. James Rogers, DOB 5/11/1969, and Marion Phillips, DOB 6/24/2982, were arrested on the above charges. James Rogers, was also arrested for Ex-Felon in Poss. of a Firearm. Marion Phillips, was also arrested for Poss. of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Identity Theft.

Jeremy Shaw, DOB 2/11/1989 and Diana Gonzalez, DOB 1/2/1991, were arrested on the above charge. Jeremy Shaw, DOB 2/11/1989, was also arrested for DUI.

2035 North:  Shots Fired @ 1900 block Valley Rd.

Patrol responded to the report of several shots fired with multiple RPs.  Officers located six 9mm casings in the street.  No victims were located, and no RPs or witnesses could provide any suspect or vehicle information.

0128 North: Shots, Party, MIC, O&R, CDM @ 2000 block of Dickerson Rd.

Officers responded to the area on the report of a large juvenile party with shots being fired.   When officers arrived, they were unable to find any victims of gunshots but did discover numerous juveniles who were under the influence of alcohol.   Numerous juveniles were cited and released to their parents.

1721 South: BDW @ 800 block of Marsh Ave.

Officers responded to the area in reference to a fight with a subject armed with a baseball bat.    Before Officers arrived, dispatch advised all involved parties were GOA in separate vehicles.  Officers checked the area with negative results.  A short time later, a victim of a battery arrived at a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.  Suspects were described as 4-5 HMA's 14-25 years wearing all dark clothing driving a green older model Subaru Outback with no plates.

The Sparks Police Department is handling this investigation.

The suspect entered the business, claimed to have a gun, but then quickly fled before taking any money. The suspect is described as: W/M/A, mid thirties, medium build, dirty blonde shoulder length hair, clean shaven, LSW a green hoodie with a Marijuana leaf on the front and blue jeans.

2109Central: Armed Robbery with Shots Fired@North Sierra St.

The suspect entered the business and demanded money. When the employee refused to comply the suspect produced a gun and fired a round into the ceiling. The suspect then fled with an unknown amount of cash. The suspect is described as: W/M/A, mid forties, average height and build, LSW a black beanie, grey hooded sweatshirt with "GI Joe" logo on the front, white under shirt, tan pants and brown shoes.

0450   Central:  Felony Eluding @ E. 2nd St/I580

Officers attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle driving with no head lights. As officers initiated the traffic stop, the vehicle fled E/B towards Sparks.  Due to inclement weather and heavy snow officers did not follow the vehicle. At 0450 hours officers located the vehicle parked at a gas station on E. 6th St. where the driver fled on foot and was taken into custody by officers.

The victim had accepted a ride form the suspects when an altercation occurred. The victim was then hit in the head with a club and his money was stolen. The suspects are described as: #1 W/M/A, 5'9" tall, LSW a white hoody. #2 W/M/A, 6'2" tall, LSW a red sweatshirt.

The victim answered a knock at this door when the armed suspects forced their way into the residence. One of the suspects went room to room and stole property and cash. The suspects are described as: #1 W/M/A, late teens to mid twenties, LSW a dark hoody. #2 H/M/A, 5'9" tall, thin build, LSW a white hoody. #3 W/M/A, 6' tall, thin build, LSW a white hoody. #4 W/F/A, 5'2"-5'5" tall, late teens to mid twenties, thin build, burgundy c‌olored hair.

The employee attempted to stop the victim from fleeing before paying for the merchandise but the suspect pushed the victim and continued to flee. The suspect has been identified but is still outstanding.

The employees attempted to stop the suspect from fleeing before paying for merchandise. The suspect then sprayed one of the victim's with Pepper Spray in an attempt to flee. Mark Gutierrez, DOB 3/25/1989, was arrested on the above charges.

Attempted Homicide Arrest

3/12/2018

At approximately 8:53 PM, the Reno Police Department received several calls regarding shots fired in the area of 950 Nutmeg Place. Upon arrival, Officers located two gunshot victims with non-life threatening injuries.  The victims were transported to the hospital and are in stable condition.  Responding Officers were able to locate the suspect in a nearby field and he was taken into custody without incident.  Two firearms were located during the investigation.  The involved parties have been contacted and no additional suspects are outstanding.

The victim was selling some property and had made arrangement to meet with the suspect. The suspect arrived and exited from the passenger side of a vehicle. He took the property, placed it inside the vehicle, he got in and then they fled without paying for the property. The victim attempted to retrieve her property from the vehicle as it was fleeing but the car tire ran over her foot and leg causing redness and bruising. There is no suspect description at this time.

The suspects entered the business and threatened the employees while demanding money and narcotics. When the victims explained they were not able to access the money the suspects grabbed some narcotics and fled. The suspects are described as: 2 Black Male adults, 5'8" tall.

The victim was confronted by the suspect who just began to batter him and then stabbed him. The victims injuries are non-life threatening and there is no suspect description at this time.

The victim was approached by the suspect who pushed her into her vehicle and then stole her property. The suspect is described as: H/M/A, mid thirties to mid forties, 6' tall, medium build, short dark hair, very thick eyebrows, LSW grey shirt and black pants.

The victim was on a bicycle when he was almost hit by a passing vehicle. The victim then stopped and the suspects exited the vehicle and began to batter him. One of the suspects then produced a gun and threatened him before fleeing. There are no suspect descriptions at this time.
