Versell Coleman, DOB 10/11/1963, was arrested on the above charges.

1945North: Attempted Armed Robbery, Taser@West 2nd St.

The suspect was armed with a Taser and approached the employee. The employee grabbed a stool and threw it at the suspect causing the suspect to fall. The suspect then produced a gun, threatened the employee and then fled on foot. There was no reported loss. The suspect is described as: Unknown Race male, 5'5" tall, thin build, LSW a black hoodie, black pants, and a black A's baseball cap.

0327                       South: (Failed Burglary Attempt) DOP, Trespass Poss. Burg Tools & Contributing Arrest- 3100 Blk Yori Ave

A Reno Police Officer was in the area of a business in the 3100 blk of Yori Ave when he was dispatched there on an activated alarm.  Upon arrival he observed a subject run from the business into an awaiting vehicle that then attempted to drive away.  Subsequent investigation revealed that the suspects attempted to break into the business and were ultimately arrested for the listed charges.

0037                       North: ADW - BB Gun@4500 blk Stonegate Lane

The victim, who was on scene of a large underage party, reported that he was involved in an argument with 6-7 party goers.  The argument turned physical when the victim was battered by several of subjects, one of whom pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the victim's head. After the altercation all of the subjects, including the suspect with the handgun left the scene prior to police arrival.  Several vehicles were stopped and subjects were detained. The suspect is described as: Light Skinned BFA, medium build, 5'5"

1604                       South: Armed Robbery/Burglary/Felony Eluding @2721 Yori Ave (El Paraiso Market)

Officers responded to the above location in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred.  Upon arrival, the victim advised the defendant was armed with a handgun, had stolen merchandise and was last seen running SB on Yori.  While officers were talking to the victim in front of the store, the defendant drove by the location NB on Yori Ave.  The defendant was stopped by Officers and taken into custody

2032                       Central: O&R, Use of Force @4th/Sage

 An RPD Officer was looking for a stolen cell phone that was showing at this location.  A person holding a cell phone was acting erratically and walked away from the Officer.  The Officer ordered the suspect to stop; instead the suspect fled on foot but was soon caught by the Officer. The suspect resisted arrest while they were struggling on the ground. Eventually, the Officer was able to handcuff the suspect. A broken glass meth pipe was located next to this hand. The Officer was not injured.

2235                       South: Battery to Police Officer - @2707 S. Virginia St. (Peppermill)

Peppermill Security detained an intoxicated couple for trespassing.  Upon our arrival, the female kicked one of our officers and after seeing this the male half head-butted the officer.  The officer received minor injuries. Both suspects were booked at the jail for trespassing, O&R and Battery on a Police Officer without further incident.

Employees arrived to find the locks of several trailer containing construction equipment had been cut and equipment had been stolen. Total loss is unknown and there are no suspects at this time.

Officers responded to reports that vehicles had been shot at while driving in the area. They discovered several casings and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers were in the area when they observed the suspect acting suspiciously. When they made contact with the suspect he resisted and they then discovered he was in possession of a controlled substance. Robert Ash, DOB 6/4/1979, was arrested on the above charges.

1312South: Arrest - Poss. of a Stolen Vehicle@Kietzke Ln.

Officers observed an occupied vehicle with stolen plates. The driver fled from them but a short time later was located hiding in the area after he had abandoned the vehicle. Officers also discovered the vehicle had been stolen. Christian Esterline, DOB 11/4/1971, was arrested on the above charge.

Employees attempted to stop the suspect from leaving without paying for merchandise when the suspect began throwing the merchandise at them in order to get away. When the suspect returned to the business a short time later Officers were there to take him into custody. Edward Wentz, DOB 2/22/2000, was arrested on the above charges.

The suspects entered the business and one of the suspects produced a knife and demanded the money from the register. The suspects stole the cash and merchandise before fleeing. Total loss has not been disclosed. The suspects are only described as: 3 males, Unknown race, 5'8"-5'10" tall, 2 with a heavy build one with a skinny build.

The victim was approached by the suspects who asked if he had a cigarette. When the victim said no he didn't the suspects began punching him knocking him to the ground and then stole his cash and fled. There are no suspect descriptions at this time.

The victim and suspect were involved in a dispute that became physical when the suspect produced a knife and cut the victim. The victim's injuries are non-life threatening. The suspect was located a short time later. Johnny Dixon, DOB 12/28/1967, was arrested on the above charge.

The victim had agreed to meet the suspects in order to purchase merchandise from them. During this transaction one of the suspects produced a gun and stole the victims money. Both suspects then fled. The suspects are described as: #1 W/M/A, long blonde pony tail, LSW blue and white pants that were ripped. #2 H/M/A, LSW a black hat.

Officers responded to a report of a commercial burglary and learned a window had been broken to allow entry and merchandise had been stolen. Total loss has not been disclosed. The suspect is described as: White or Hispanic male, thin build, average height, LSW a black hoodie with white print on the front and back with a square or diamond shape on the back, light blue jeans and dark shoes.

As Officers were responding to a report of a petit larceny they observed a subject in the area who matched the description of the suspect. When they attempted to make contact the suspect refused to cooperate. Steven Jacobsen, DOB 10/17/1964, was arrested on the above charges.

Offices responded to the above location for reports of shots being fired. While they were on scene they received a report of a subject being treated at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds. The victims injuries are non-life threatening. The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect was seen attempting to get into parked vehicles. During the investigation Officers learned the suspect had broken open several Lock boxes and was in possession of stolen property. Jesse Sweet, DOB 8/28/1984, was arrested on the above charges.

Officers responded to several reports of shots being fired at the above location and discovered a vehicle with several bullet strikes. There were no reported injuries and the investigation is ongoing.

The victim and suspect were involved in a verbal altercation when the suspect struck the victim several times and then stole her cash before fleeing. The suspect is described as: B/M/A, mid fifties, 5'6" tall, heavy build, LSW a grey shirt and blue jeans.

Officers responded to a report of a subject who was falling down and harming himself. When they went to make contact the suspect became combative and punched an officer. Robert Harr, DOB 2/3/1984, was arrested on the above charges.

Officers responded to reports of shots being fired in the area and discovered several casings. There were no reported injuries and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that matched the description of a suspect vehicle from a previous case. During the investigation Officers located a controlled substance. Anthony Stephens, DOB 8/13/1979, was arrested on the above charges.

0038North: BDW, Firearm@Maui Ct.

The victim was walking along when the suspect vehicle approached and the suspect, who was a passenger, began to ask him questions. That suspect then fired several shots at the victim before fleeing. The victim's injury is non-life threatening and the investigation is ongoing. The suspect vehicle is described as a newer white colored two door vehicle.

Officers responded to a report of a fight and located a victim with substantial injuries. The victim's injuries are non-life threatening and there are no suspects at this time.

1540North: Arrest - Eluding/O&R/Suspended Registration/Armed Robbery@Cannan St.

Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop for a suspended license but the driver continued driving at a high rate of speed until he abandoned the vehicle and fled to a residence. The suspect exited the residence and Officers were able to take him into custody. During the investigation Officers learned the suspect was also involved in a armed robbery that occurred on April 29. Anthony Johnson, DOB 3/14/1990, was arrested on the above charges.

The victim was walking in the area when a vehicle approached and the suspect, a passenger in the vehicle, asked him questions. As the victim began running from the area he heard several shots and realized he had been hit in the leg. The victims injury is non-life threatening and the investigation is ongoing. The suspect vehicle is only described as a dark colored sedan.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above location and discovered a victim with gun shot wounds. The victims injuries are non-life threatening. The responding Officers developed probable cause to arrest Jacob Dominguez for this crime. On Monday, May 7, 2018, Jose Dominguez, DOB 7/13/1996, was arrested by the Regional Crime Suppression Unit.

The victim gave an acquaintance a ride to the above location. Upon arrival the suspect exited a vehicle, produced a machete and began breaking out the windows of the victim's vehicle. The suspect then got back in his vehicle and fled. There is no suspect description at this time.

Officers responded to an alarm at the above location and discovered someone had attempted to ram the doors with a vehicle but was unsuccessful. The suspect is described as: W/M/A, LSW a grey beanie, black jacket, dark pants and red tennis shoes.
