0205CENTRAL: Arrest - ADW / CCW / Poss. of Dangerous Weapons@1st & Virginia Streets

Officers observed two subjects who were involved in a disturbance when one of the subjects produced a baton and began advancing on the other. Officers made contact with the suspect and discovered he was in possession of several concealed dangerous weapons. Gordon Crutcher, DOB 6/8/1980, was arrested on the above charges.

0341CENTRAL: Arrest - Burglary & O&R @500 block Stoker Ave.

Officers responded to an alarm and learned that there were 2 possibly 3 subjects Burglarizing the property. Officers located one of the suspects and Timur Vlasenko, DOB 6/26/1993,was arrested on the above charges. The 2nd suspect is described as: White Male, LSW dark clothing.

The suspects entered the business, placed a firearm on the counter and demanded merchandise. Total loss is unknown. The suspects are described as: #1 Unknown Race male, 6' tall, LSW black sweatshirt, black pants. #2 Unknown Race male, 6'2" tall, LSW black jacket, black sweatpants, blue scarf

1954CENTRAL: Arrest - ADW on an Officer / Battery on an Officer / Challenge to a Fight@2nd & Kietzke

Officer located a subject in the roadway. The subject refused their request to get out of the roadway, challenged them to a fight and then attempted to flee. As Officers were taking the suspect into custody she scratched one in them in the face and kicked another. Jwell Bartlow, DOB 9/26/1995, was arrested on the above charges.

0757CENTRAL: Attempted Robbery / CCW / ADW / Discharge Firearm in an Occupied dwelling@500 block Booth Street

The suspect entered the business armed with a gun and demanded cash merchandise. When the clerk did not comply the suspect pointed the gun at him and fired one round. No projectile left the gun and the victim was not injured. The suspect is described as: B/M/A, mid thirties, LSW black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black and white joggers.

1457CENTRAL: Arrest - Ex Felon Possession of Firearm / Fail to Register@100 block East 2nd Street

Officers located a suspect in a Vehicle Burglary and conducted a stop. During their investigation they learned the suspect had been in possession of a Firearm but had discarded it. William Corgan, DOB 10/21/1989, was arrested on the above charges.

Officers responded to a report that a Burglary suspect had returned to the business. When they attempted to make contact with the suspect he attempted to flee. Dominic Bottine, DOB 12/21/1997, was arrested on the above charges.

2051CENTRAL: Assault with Deadly Weapon, Firearm / Battery@100 block West 2nd Street

The victim was trying to speak with another subject, but the suspect who was also present intervened and became confrontational with the victim. The suspect then produced a gun and struck the victim several times in the face before the victim fled. The suspect has been tentatively identified but is still outstanding.

Officers learned that the subject in question had an active Domestic Battery warrant with night and day service times as well as two additional FTA warrants for his arrest. Jshawn Rogers, DOB 12/27/2002 was arrested on the above charges.

Officers were dispatched on the report of a robbery that occurred. The victim reported to dispatch that her 26-year-old daughter battered her, stole her vehicle and fled the area. Vanessa Sanchez, DOB 9/24/1999 was arrested on the above charges.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and attempted to make contact with the suspect. However, the suspect was holding a crutch like a baseball bat and charged at the Officer. Osbin Vanegas-Duran, DOB 11/4/1986, was arrested on the above charges.

Officers responded to report that a citizen had found a shell casing outside of their residence. Officers did not locate any bullet strikes and there were no reported injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

1253SOUTH: Arrest - Child left in vehicle for approx one hour/Abuse Neglect@4000 Block Kietzke Lane

Officers responded to a child in distress locked inside a vehicle, with the windows rolled up, and was not running. Outside air temp was approximately 86 degrees at the time. Heat index inside the vehicle under these conditions was 119 degrees. Officers promptly removed the child, who was sweating profusely, and in distress from waking up to being left alone locked in the vehicle. Grover White, DOB 12/31/1951 was arrested on the above charges.

The suspects were observed looking into the victims vehicle. When the victim confronted them one suspect produced a gun and pointed it at the victim making threats. The suspects then fled. The suspects are described as: #1 H/M/A, LSW blue jeans, hooded sweatshirt. #2 H/M/A, LSW blue shirt, white pants. #3 H/M/A, LSW blue jeans, blue hoodie with a logo on the back.

The victim and suspect were meeting to conduct a sale for clothing when the suspect grabbed the merchandise and fled to a waiting car. The victim attempted to prevent him from leaving but the driver accelerated resulting in the victim being thrown off the hood of the vehicle. The suspect has been identified but is still outstanding.

The victim was riding an electric bicycle and had stopped at a red light. She was then confronted by the suspect who produced a baton and struck her in the head knocking her off of the bike. Two other suspects then held her down while they stole her bicycle. The suspects are described as: #1 B/M/A, mid forties, dreads, #2 B/M/A, mid twenties, short hair. #3 B/F/A, mid twenties, missing teeth

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and attempted to make contact with the suspect who was walking away. The suspect disregarded their orders and then attempted to flee when they made contact. As Officers were taking the suspect into custody they discovered he was in possession of a firearm. Kevin Tran, DOB 7/5/1995, was arrested on the above charges.

The suspect and victim were involved in an argument that turned physical when the suspect armed himself with a hatchet and attempted to strike the victim. 0119NORTH: Arrest - Att Burg, Child Abuse, Agg Stalking, O&R@3000 Block Leadership Pkwy

Officers responded on a report of a male banging on the doors and windows demanding to be let inside.  On arrival Officers located the suspect who was intoxicated and bleeding from the head in the enclosed patio of the victim's apartment. In an act of self defense the suspect was hit in the head with a rock. Suspect was transported to the hospital for medical clearance and then taken to jail. Daniel Mena-Robles, DOB 11/27/1997 was arrested on the above charges.

Motor units responded to a multiple vehicle crash. While investigating the crash, an uninvolved electric bicyclist approached the scene. The bicyclist failed to obey RFD directing traffic, moved into oncoming traffic and nearly caused a collision. Tidwell Laquez, DOB 11/24/2004 was arrested on the above charges.

Officers responded on a report of a 9 year old juvenile locked out of her apartment. No parents were present, and a witness brought the child to the main office when police were called. The child was left with no phone, money, or way to get back into the residence.

Officers responded to the above location on the report of two men fighting. Once on scene Officers located a male actively bleeding and arguing with a female. Officers contacted the male who refused to follow verbal commands, the male also spit on the woman.

Officers began to detain the male who began to physically resist, kicking an officer in the knee. Isaac Brewor, DOB 4/18/71 was arrested on the above charges.

2307SOUTH: Arrest - Kidnapping/ADW/Child Endangerment@400 Block Smithridge Park

Officers responded on the report of a juvenile calling advising her father was threatening to kill himself with her mother also in the room gasping for air, along with 3 small children. The RP also advised earlier today her mother and father left, and when they returned her mother told her the male had pointed a gun at her head. Officers responded and detained the male in the master bedroom, with a gun next to him in the bed, along with the mother and 3 children in the room.
