0131South: Arrest - Poss. of Stolen Property@Covent Garden Drive

Officers responded to a report of a hot prowl and located a subject in the area that matched the description of the suspect. Upon contacting the subject Officers discovered he was in possession of property that had been stolen from another location. Jacob Keirulf, DOB 7/13/1992, was arrested on the above charge.

Officers observed an occupied vehicle with stolen license plates and conducted a stop. During the investigation they learned the vehicle had also been stolen. Lauren Ruiz, DOB 1/25/2000, was arrested on the above charges.

The victim and suspect had been involved in physical confrontation when the suspect pointed a gun at him as he fled the area in his vehicle. The suspect is only described as: B/M/A. The suspect vehicle is only described as: White Sedan.

Officers responded on a report of an unwanted subject and were attempting to make contact with her when she attempted to flee. During the investigation Officers discovered the suspect was in possession of someone else's ID and credit cards. Britney Jackson, DOB 7/4/1994, was arrested on the above charges.

1120Central: BDW, Stabbing@Unknown Location

Officers responded to a local hospital for a subject who was being treated for multiple stab wounds. The victims injuries are non-life threatening and the investigation is ongoing.

The victim and suspect are known to each other and today the victim confronted the suspect when he found him outside his residence. The suspect then produced a gun and threatened the victim with it before fleeing.  The suspect has been identified but is still outstanding.

Officers responded to a report that a stolen vehicle had just been located and was occupied. They conducted a stop and Brian Borja, DOB 1/101984, was arrested on the above charges.

Officers observed an occupied stolen vehicle and conducted a stop. Randall Berg, DOB 9/20/1997, was arrested on the above charges. Christopher Brosi, DOB 9/15/1992, and David Barela, DOB 2/23/1989, were both arrested on drug related charges.

Officers responded to a report that a victim of a battery had been found. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the investigation is ongoing.

0014South: Armed Robbery, Firearm@Arlington & Rosewood

The victims were approached by two suspects on foot while a third suspect pulled a vehicle in front of them. They demanded the victims property but when the victims refused one suspect produced a gun and and forced one victim to give up his property. The suspects then fled in the vehicle. The suspects are described as: 3 W/M/A's, mid teens to mid twenties, one had blonde hair and the other had brown eyes. The suspect vehicle is described as: Gold 4 door Sedan possibly a Buick.

The victim returned home to find that his residence had been broken into and his property and vehicle stolen. There are no suspects and Detectives are actively investigating at this time.

Officers responded to a report of a Commercial Burglary. Total loss is unknown. The suspect is described as: W/M, long hair in a ponytail, LSW a beanie and hooded sweatshirt.

Officers were taking the suspect into custody for Trespassing when he became combative and kicked an officer. Jose Diaz, DOB 11/4/1982, was arrested on the above charges.

The victim was sitting in his vehicle with the engine running when the suspect approached, opened his door and attempted to steal his vehicle. The victim got out and confronted the suspect who then fled on foot. The suspect is described as: W/M/A, mid twenties to mid thirties, 5'6" to 5'8" tall, LSW a dark hoodie and dark clothes.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing and located a victim with multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition. The suspect is described as: B/M/A, late forties to early fifties, 5'6" tall, short salt and pepper hair, salt & pepper facial hair, LSW a black jacket.

The owner responded to an alarm at his business and discovered a door had been pried open and cash had been stolen. Total loss is unknown and there are no suspects at this time.

The victim was standing outside of his vehicle as it was warming up when he was approached by the suspects. One suspect grabbed him and knocked him to the ground. They then got into his vehicle and fled. The suspects are only described as: 3 males.

1447North: ADW, Firearm@McCloud

The victim had made arrangements with the property owner to retrieve property that he had stored there. When the victim attempted to retrieve that property the suspect, who also lives at the property, confronted him and then threatened him with a gun. The suspect then fled prior to officers arrival. The suspect has been identified but is still outstanding.

Officer observed an occupied vehicle with stolen plates and made contact with the occupants. During the investigation they learned the vehicle had also been stolen. Josh Jones, DOB 10/27/1985, was arrested on the above charges.

Officers were taking the suspect into custody for refusing to pay his cab fare when he physically resisted. Victor Polyushko, DOB 3/7/1974, was arrested on the above charges.

Officers responded to a report of a Battery with a Deadly Weapon and located the victim with a non-life threatening gun shot wound to the leg. The suspect has been identified but is still outstanding.

1750                Central: Trafficking Narcotics Arrest @4th / Keystone

RPD Officers observed two females around a vehicle, acting suspiciously, in a casino parking lot.  They observed the two who continued to behave suspiciously and separated from their associated vehicle.  The pair then walked away and were picked up by a male subject in a vehicle with no plates.  Officers stopped that vehicle. A K9 Officer responded and the K9 alerted to the vehicle.  A search was conducted and officers located narcotics.

0054                       Central: DUI @1st St / Roff Way

An RPD Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding.  Once the vehicle stopped the Officer exited his patrol car and began to make contact with the driver of the vehicle, when the driver suddenly backed up into the officer's vehicle causing minor damage. The driver was arrested for DUI.

0258                       North: Armed Robbery/Eluding @1500 blk Valley road

The fourth armed robbery in the UNR area occurred and the victim was able to give a description of a suspect vehicle with the driver who robbed him at gun point.  The victim’s phone was tracked through “Find My iPhone” app in the area of Idlewild and Riviera. RPD Officers went to the area and located a vehicle that matched the description of the robbery vehicle and also matched a reported stolen vehicle.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle at which time the vehicle fled.

At the intersection of Mill/Rock the vehicle lost control due to a damaged tire and crashed into the curb. The driver exited and fled on foot but was caught.

0205                       Central: Fight/O&R @100 blk N. Virginia St

Patrol responded on the report of a fight inside a bar involving possibly 100 subjects.  Patrol arrived at the bar and contacted security who were dispersing subjects from inside.  Another large fight broke out at 2nd and Virginia.  Officers attempted to disperse the crowd again, but several individuals refused to leave and attempted to fight with officers.  The listed went to jail for O&R:

0914                       South: PCS, O&R- @2600 blk Yori Ave.

The defendant was detained after being involved in a domestic disturbance and found to have a warrant.  As an Officer began searching the defendant, he began to pull away and dig his hands, which were in cuffs, into the front pocket of his pants. The defendant was able to retrieve a baggie containing methamphetamine and put it into his mouth.  He eventually spit the baggie out.

2026                       Central: GTA - RFD Squad 1 Rescue Rig truck@200 E. 4th St.

RFD was on a medical call at the 4th Street Bus Station, when their Squad 1 Rescue Rig (truck) was stolen. RPD was contacted and with Dispatch assistance soon located the vehicle.  The RFD truck was blocked and came to a stop at Virginia and Liberty.  The driver then tried to go around and hit the back bumper of an RPD vehicle.  The RFD vehicle was not damaged and all equipment was recovered. The suspect admitted to being under the influence of methamphetamine.  He admitted to stealing the fire truck because he always wanted to be a fire fighter.

An RPD Officer spotted a stolen vehicle at Sutro St and Oddie Blvd.  It became occupied and was stopped at the listed location. Through investigation the Officers were able to identify the original suspect as Janelle Harold (12/18/90) and also located her possessions in the vehicle.  She was located at nearby residence and arrested.

The victim was approached by the suspect who asked for money. When the victim said he did not have any the suspect struck him several times with a pipe and then fled to a waiting vehicle. The victim's injuries are non-life threatening. The suspect is described as: H/M/A, short black hair, LSW a black shirt, blue jeans and Nike shoes with a white "swoosh" on the side.

0230                       South: Armed Robbery – Firearm @100 blk Hubbard Way

The victim's (a husband and wife) were walking on the south sidewalk when they were approached by 3 males, ( 2 WMA's and 1 BMA ) who had pulled up next to them in a truck. The male suspects exited and confronted the victims and demanded the wife's purse. When she refused, one of the suspects produced a black semi-auto handgun and pointed it at her, the wife gave up her purse. The suspects jumped back in their vehicle and fled eastbound.

Victim called 911 stated he was stabbed in the back three times.  The victim fled to get away from the suspect. Officers located the suspect at a local motel and he was ultimately arrested.

The Defendant approached a 4 year old girl playing in the apartment court yard, picked her up and started walking towards the street.   A neighbor saw this and alerted the child's father.   The child's father pursued and fought the Defendant rescuing the child.   The Defendant was detained by several neighbors and the father until Police arrived.

1546                       North: High loss commercial burglary@1000 blk Standard St

An RPD Officer responded to the area on an alarm call.  Upon arrival the Officer noticed a large truck leaving the area.  When the driver of the truck noticed the police, he attempted to hide his identity by pulling the hood on his sweatshirt over his head.  After a short pursuit the truck stopped near the Amazon warehouse.  The defendant had stolen the truck from the business, valued at just over $500,000.

Officers observed the 20 year old male exit a bar where he became involved in a fight in the middle of the street. He was contacted and detained in the middle of the street where he continued to be physically uncooperative with officers.

2055                       South: DUI Accident Vehicle versus House@700 blk West Plumb Lane

The driver was Westbound on Plumb and passed several Witness vehicles at a high rate of speed.   The driver failed to negotiate a southbound turn from Plumb at Phillips and drove into her house.   The driver exhibited signs of intoxication.   The driver was booked for DUI.

2304                       South: Occupied 10-99 Vehicle/ PSMV@3800 S. Virginia St.

An RPD Officer was in the area and ran a plate on a vehicle which showed stolen and was occupied in the parking lot.  The suspect was detained without incident.  The suspect admitted to having been given the vehicle by a little known acquaintance after being shown the special starting procedure for the car.
