1057Sparks: Arrest - Failure to Register / O&R / Battery on an Officer@2000 block Victorian Ave.

Officers located the suspect who was wanted for failure to register. When they attempted to take him into custody he began resisting, became combative and kicked one of the officers. David McNally, DOB 11/20/1977, was arrested on the above charges.

1622South: Arrest - O&R / Poss. of a Dangerous Weapon / Grand Larceny@3000 block South Virginia Street.

Officers learned the location of a suspect who was wanted in a previous crime. When the suspect saw the officers approaching he attempted to flee. As they were taking the suspect into custody Brass Knuckles fell out of his clothing. Gregory Morgan, DOB 11/22/1995, was arrested on the above charges.

0130North: Robbery with a Deadly Weapon@Stoker @ Carlin

The victim and suspects were known to each other and today the suspects were giving the victim a ride. When the victim questioned why they were at the above location one of the suspects struck the victim in the head with a gun and demanded his money. The victim was able to get out of the vehicle and call for help. The suspects are described as: #1 H/M/A, mid thirties, 5'8" tall, 150-180 lbs., shaved head, short facial hair. #2 Pacific Islander female, 6'1" tall, 210-215 lbs., heavy set.

0445South: Battery with a Deadly Weapon / GTA@400 block East Plumb Lane

Officers responded to a report that a victim with a stab wound had been found. The victim reported he was giving the unknown suspect a ride and stopped at the above location when the suspect suddenly stabbed him. The victim was able to get out of the vehicle and call for help. The suspect then fled in the victim's vehicle. The victim's injury is non-life threatening. The suspect is described as: W/F/A, mid thirties, brown hair, skinny, LSW a hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

0900                       North: PSMV/Eluding Arrest@7th/McCarran
Officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle and it fled at a high rate of speed. Officers did not pursue the vehicle. The vehicle was soon involved in an accident with a school bus occupied by three children in the area of Robb Dr and Mae Anne Ave. The suspect took off on foot but was located by Officers a few blocks away. No injuries to anyone involved in the accident.

0220                       North: Petit Larceny / Open Container / O&R  @7000 blk N. Virginia St

Officers responded on an unwanted intoxicated subject who was refusing to leave. While en route Officers were advised he had stolen a bottle of liquor and was walking out of the store. Upon arrival Officers contacted the subject outside at which time he became uncooperative and challenged Officer's to fight. The subject was drinking out of a glass liquor bottle and was continually placing his hand in his pocket against Officer's commands. The subject began to advance on the Officer and another Officer was able to get behind the the suspect and take him into custody.

1011                       South: Child Endangerment @2700 blk South Virginia Street

Officers responded on a report of a shot fired into a hotel room.  R/P advised a bullet had just gone through their television and struck the wall. Officers discovered the defendant was showing his 6 year old grandson how to handle a handgun.  The defendant handed the child the loaded weapon and the child accidentally discharged the weapon into the adjoining room.  A canvass was completed and no one was injured.

1809                       South: Tresspass/O&R @3100 blk S. Virginia St

Officers responded to a trouble unknown call.  RP stated that a juvenile, who was home alone, had come and advised that an unknown male had just knocked at his apartment.  When the juvenile answered, he did not recognize the male who then walked into his apartment.  The juvenile then ran to a friends house for help, who called 9-1-1.  Upon officer’s arrival the suspect had locked the apartment door, and was refusing to answer or exit the apartment. Officers searched the apartment and located the male in a rear bedroom who was uncooperative and refused multiple commands.    The defendant was not known to the homeowners.

The victims were woken up by the barking of their dogs and went to see what they were barking about when they located the suspect inside their front door. The suspect then fled the residence. The suspect is described as: W/M/A, mid twenties, 5'10"-6' tall, medium build, light brown crew style cut hair, LSW a white and red jacket.

1210Central: BDW, Knife@Alley East of Virginia Street between 5th & 6th

The victim was approached by the suspect who asked him for a cigarette. When the victim replied that he did not have any they became involved in an altercation. The suspect then swung a knife at him cutting his arm before fleeing. The suspect is described as: Unknown race male with grey facial hair.

1725North: Robbery@5000 block West 7th St.

The victim was approached by the suspect who grabbed her purse and tried to run away with it. The victim kept hold of the purse and was dragged several feet before letting go. The suspect then fled to a nearby bicycle. The suspect is described as: H/M/A, mid thirties to mid forties, 5'8" tall, medium to heavy build, dark hair, LSW green hat (baseball style), blue jeans and a dark possibly green coat.

The suspect had attempted to leave the business without paying for merchandise when the employees confronted him. The suspect gave back the property but when the employees continued to detain him he produced a knife and threatened them. The suspect is described as: W/M/A, mid fifties, 5'10" tall, 225-230 lbs., dirty blonde hair, beard, LSW a brown hat, red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The victim was near his vehicle when he was approached by the suspect who demanded his property. The suspect then scratched the victim with an unknown object and fled on foot. The suspect is described as: B/M/A, 6'4" tall, heavy build, LSW a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and white shoes.

The victims had made arrangements to meet with the suspect at the above location. Upon their arrival they were approached by armed subjects who demanded their money and car keys. All the suspects then fled in their vehicle. The suspects are described as: #1 H/F/A, no further. #2,#3,#4 B/M/A's, late teens to early twenties, LSW dark clothing and headbands.

0215North: Arrest - Burglary / Robbery with a Deadly Weapon@7000 block North Virginia Street.

Officers had responded to a report of an armed robbery where the suspect had already fled the scene. They located the suspect a short time later. Elfego Gonzalez-Mejia, DOB 5/14/1998, was arrested on the above charges.

Officers conducted a stop of a subject on a bicycle for traffic violations. The suspect attempted to flee and was then found in possession of a controlled substance. Dwight Monroe, DOB 1/23/1955, was arrested on the above charges.
