Officers responded to an alarm and discovered a window had been broken and entry had been made. Total loss if any is unknown and there are no suspects at this time.
Officers observed an occupied stolen vehicle and conducted a stop. Elizabeth Moreno, DOB 11/27/1980, was arrested on the above charge.
The victim and suspect were involved in an altercation when the suspect produced a gun and threatened the victim before fleeing. The suspect has been identified but is still outstanding.

Officers responded to a report of an unwanted subject causing a disturbance. When they attempted to make contact with the suspect he became uncooperative and combative. James Arthur Warren, DOB 12/25/1990, was arrested on the above charges.
Officers responded to a report of a residential burglary. During their
Officers responded to a report of an ADW with a Knife. When they made contact with the suspect he attempted to run and then bit an Officer. Officers then discovered there had been no attempted ADW. William Nusbaum, DOB 6/12/1982, was arrested on the above charges.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting. There were no reported injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
Luis Padilla, DOB 12/17/1983, was arrested on the above charge.

The suspect entered through a broken front window. There was an alarm system active.

Officers responded on the report of a domestic disturbance. Once on scene, the male was contacted outside and immediately took up an active aggressive stance challenging the officers to fight. The male then walked away from officers and again threatened the officers that he would strike them. An Officer deployed his Taser and the male was taken into custody.

A large group rented the building for a party. The victim got into a fight with several unknown suspects and was stabbed in the upper right chest. He was transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

At approximately 0312 a silver Subaru Impreza was stolen from a residence. At approximately 0353 hours, An Officer observed the vehicle in the area of Lakeridge and Keystone Av. and the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed and crashed into a fence. The male driver fled, but two juvenile passengers were detained by officers. The juvenile passengers were cited for curfew and released to their parents.

Officers responded to an Elementary School reference unsupervised children. Officers attempted to contact the mother with no result. Officers responded to the apartment and found unsanitary living conditions and a 14-year-old child at the residence.

Officers responded to a department store reference a robbery. A male and female Suspect known from previous arrests were observed concealing the items. The female and male exited separately. The male was confronted by Security, he acknowledged that he remembered them and stated that he had weapons as he reached into his bag. Security backed away and the Suspect fled.

Officers responded reference a Suspect fighting with Security. Officers arrived and detained the Defendant. Officers learned the Defendant caused a disturbance, and battered one of the employees so Loss Prevention decided to arrest him. Stolen property was located on his person. Victim was playing slot machines at a casino and had a coin purse in front of him containing a large sum of money. The suspect grabbed it and ran out of the casino. The victim gave chase and drew the attention of a citizen who chased the suspect and then detained the suspect until officers arrived. Officers found the suspect still in possession of the money, and were able to release it to the victim. He admitted stealing the money to officers and was taken to jail

Defendant was observed inside a truck that was not his. The owner was alerted and the owner and co-workers detained the Defendant. Defendant had the key to the vehicle he was in, a key to another vehicle on scene that was not his, a key ring with multiple shaved keys on it on his person. Defendant damaged the truck that he was located inside of by the Witness prior to being discovered.

Officers observed the suspect jaywalking. Upon stopping the suspect he had possession of a large knife and was placed into handcuffs. The suspect got up and was going to run, but Officer were able to control him.

1121 South: PSMV, Eluding (F), Hit and Run@2000 Blk of Yori
An RPD Officer located an occupied stolen vehicle in the area of Virginia and Hubbard. As Officers were following the vehicle it fled at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was later located, having been involved in an accident, in the 2000 block of Yori Ave. Several witnesses stated the suspect ran on foot into a nearby apartment. The suspect was located at the apartment and detained. While on scene a citizen approached and stated that while fleeing from Officers the suspect struck her vehicle.

An RPD Officer stopped a mini van for no registration and a tail light violation. While speaking with the driver he discovered that she was impaired by Marijuana. There were two juveniles inside the van, age 8 and 4 yrs old. The 4 yr old was unrestrained in the vehicle.

A bicyclist was stopped for a lamp violation and found to have a probation warrant. The Defendant was handcuffed and then shoulder checked the arresting Officer attempting to flee. The Defendant was restrained and narcotics and drug paraphernalia was located on his person.

An RPD Officer attempted to stop a vehicle with no plates that failed to stop at two stop signs. The vehicle fled and the Officer discontinued his attempt to stop the vehicle. The Officer checked the area and located the vehicle parked with three Suspect's fleeing on foot. The Officer caught one of the Suspect's in a foot pursuit and took him into custody.

The Reno Police Department is requesting the public’s help locating Sonya Pierce. Ms. Pierce is 48 years old. She stands 5’10” and weighs 155 lbs. She was last seen wearing a long sleeve shirt and jeans and may not be wearing shoes. Ms. Pierce was last seen walking away from St. Mary's hospital after 8:00 pm. She is known to frequent the Reno Tahoe Airport and the Grand Sierra Resort. Ms. Pierce may appear to be confused or disorientated.

Officers were conducting a traffic crash investigation in the turn lane to Geiger Grade.
